Scarlets Ladies go big for Charity match

Kieran Lewis Newyddion Cymuned

Tomorrow the Senior Ladies will be taking part in a charity match against Mari Griffiths Select XV in support of Mari and Lymphoma Action.

Words of Scarlets Ladies Head Coach, Daryl Morgan, “Mari was an integral member of our senior squad over the past 4 years. But, towards the latter part of 2018, Mari was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. It is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK and can occur at any age, even in children. Mari has now completed her chemotherapy and is starting radiotherapy. The Scarlets Ladies are very proud of her and can’t wait to take part tomorrow”

The game will be played in Whitland RFC, SA34 0HR, on Saturday, May 11th. 2.00pm kick off.
