We are a committed, focused and ambitious workforce that is looking to add a like-minded New Business Development Executive to our team.
This is a varied role and as New Business Development Executive your time will be split 70% new business and 30% servicing existing business.
Selling a range of Scarlets in stadia inventory, hospitality packages and community-related programmes.
Your leads will be self-sourced, so being proactive and maintaining a healthy pipeline will prove imperative for new business growth.
Building and enhancing partner relationships is also integral to the role where existing partners are concerned through maintaining close communications helping the partners achieve their desired outcomes which would be detailed within account appraisal documents.
The successful Business Development Executive will require experience in new business sales, be self-motivated, driven and hungry for success with a proactive and orchestrated approach to sales.
Having the ability, confidence and experience in making outbound calls, delivering presentations as well as achieving weekly and monthly KPI’s is essential.

As a New Business Development Executive you will need to have:
- Previous prospecting experience
- Ability to build rapport
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- The drive, ambition and determination to progress within a fast-growing organisation
- A proven track record in achieving or exceeding targets
The success achieved by the Scarlets over the last 2 seasons has provided the commercial arm of the business with an opportunity to raise standards in terms of the level of service and offer as a commercial unit along with setting new unprecedented revenue targets that are aligned with the Rugby divisions aspirations.
In line with the region’s aspirations, the commercial division has formed a 3-year strategy and set yearly forecasts, that sees a significant increase in commercial revenue year on year.
THE PACKAGE FOR NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:
- Basic: £26,000 - £28,000
- OTE up to 25% of annual salary
- Benefits: Mobile, Laptop, 23 days holiday
LOCATION: Whilst the position of New Business Development Exec is based at Parc y Scarlets, the role will see you cover Wales and potentially parts of England & Ireland.
