Scarlets fans are being urged to ‘paint the Liberty red’ in next Saturday’s Champions Cup play-off clash against arch-rivals the Ospreys.

Saracens’ victory over Leinster in today’s Champions Cup final at St James’ Park means the two West Wales sides will battle it out for a place in Europe’s top competition at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, May 18 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

It promises to be a massive occasion with a huge prize at stake.

Scarlets captain Ken Owens said: "It is a local derby against our rivals and they are always great occasions that bring the best out of both teams.

“We have had two good games against the Ospreys already this season. It will be a huge test and one we are all looking forward to.

“Hopefully, we can get plenty of Scarlets fans heading across the Loughor and we can go across there and get a scalp.”

Scarlets fans can purchase their tickets at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scarletsrugby/ or in person from the Scarlets Ticket Office. The Scarlets have been given an allocation in a specific section of the ground.

There will also be supporters travel to the game.

The derby clashes have seen one win for each side in the Guinness PRO14 this season. The Scarlets triumphed 20-17 at Parc y Scarlets in October, while the Ospreys claimed the spoils 19-12 in December.
