Scarlets Community Foundation launch POSTPONED

Menna Isaac News

This evening’s launch of the Scarlets Community Foundation has been postponed to a future date due to ongoing concerns about coronavirus.

Scarlets chief operating officer Phillip Morgan said: “In view of the increasing concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus, we have taken the decision to postpone this evening’s event. We apologise for the short notice to guests, but in light of recent announcements we felt this was the right decision for all involved.”

All Blacks head coach Ian Foster, who was due to be a guest alongside Scarlets head coach Brad Mooar, has been forced to fly home to New Zealand this afternoon because of restrictions on travel.

The evening was to be the official launch of the Scarlets Community Foundation, the Scarlets’ non-profit charity arm. The launch will now take place at a future date.
