Johnny McNicholl has finished the Guinness PRO14 regular season as one of the leading performers in the competition.
The former Crusaders speedster, who has played at full-back and wing for Scarlets this season, beat more defenders (70) than any other player across the 21 rounds.
The two tries McNicholl scored in last weekend’s Judgement Day defeat to the Dragons saw him place second (11) in the top try-scorers chart behind Cheetahs flyer Rabs Maxwane (14), while a tally of 1182 metres gained over the season saw him finish second in that category behind Ospreys full-back Dan Evans (1299).
McNicholl also finished in the top five carriers, was second in clean breaks (29) - again behind Maxwane (34) - and was fourth in most off-loads (24).
The 28-year-old, who joined the Scarlets in 2016, is one of a number of players who have signed new deals with the region.
