From Saundersfoot, Ryan is another who has graduated from the Scarlets’ age-grade programme. A potent try-scorer, he made his Scarlets senior debut in the Anglo-Welsh Cup against Bath, scored a stunning solo try against Ulster on his PRO14 debut and bagged a double in the 44-0 Boxing Day win over the Ospreys in December 2019. Played in three successive World U20s Championships and has gone on to become a regular try-scorer in senior colours, crossing for a hat-trick against the Ospreys during a memorable 2021-22 season.
