Scarlets prop Alec Hepburn has been called into the Scotland squad ahead of their Six Nations finale against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.

The experienced loose-head, who has six Scotland caps to his name, returns to the national team training environment having been involved in the A match against Italy at the start of the campaign.

Scotland will be without Gregor Brown (calf), Scott Cummings (hamstring), Adam Hastings (shoulder), Nathan McBeth (ankle), Elliot Millar Mills (groin) and Duhan van der Merwe (ankle), who have been released to their clubs for further assessment on injuries.
