Australian second row Steve Cummins has rejoined the Scarlets as short-term injury cover.

Steve spent three years in Llanelli after arriving from Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels in 2017.

He made 46 appearances in a Scarlets jersey and played in the 2018 Guinness PRO14 final and 2018 Champions Cup semi-final in Dublin.

Steve joined French club Section Paloise in 2020, then signed for the Dragons ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Scarlets second rows Sam Lousi, Jac Price and Will Evans are all currently unavailable, while Jake Ball is undergoing return-to-play protocols following a head knock in training this week.
