Blair joined the Scarlets in July 2024 and enjoyed an incredible debut season in Welsh rugby. Qualifying for Wales through his mother, who is from Tonyrefail, Blair’s dazzling form for the Scarlets saw him earn his first Wales cap the following November. By the end of a season that saw him score 11 tries for the Scarlets he was firmly in the conversation as a bolter for the British & Irish Lions tour of Australia. ‘Buzz’ is a former New Zealand Schoolboys international and was part of the wider Crusaders Super Rugby squad before moving to Wales.
