A product of Carmarthen Quins' successful junior section, Carwyn starred for Llandovery College in their Welsh Schools and Colleges cup final victory at the Principality Stadium in 2025. Already capped by Wales U18s and U19s, the fly-half made his Carmarthen Quins' Super Rygbi Cymru debut this season at the age of 17 and made his senior Scarlets URC debut just a day after his 18th birthday. Enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the professional game, making nine senior appearances, starting four matches in the No. 10 jersey and starring for Wales U20s in the Six Nations and Junior World Championships
