Marnus joined the Scarlets from South African side Toyota Cheetahs in the summer of 2024 and made an instant impact. The abrasive hooker was named the Scarlets’ Supporters Player of the Season, was included in the URC’s end-of-season Elite XV and earned a call-up to Rassie Erasmus’s Springboks squad, winning his first cap against Georgia in July 2025, scoring two tries.
