Scarlets are delighted to announce LHP Accountants, Dunbia and Blas y Tir (Puffin Produce) as sponsors of our age-grade teams, supporting the development of the next generation of rugby talent in West Wales.

All three companies, who all have strong roots in the community, are featured on the new age-grade jerseys which were worn by the Scarlets U18s for the first time in their WRU Academies Championship win over RGC at Llandovery on Sunday.

LHP Accountants have offices across West Wales and have been long-standing commercial partners of the Scarlets.

Blas y Tir, based in Pembrokeshire, also long-term commercial partners of the Scarlets, and are a Welsh brand with a proud reputation for award-winning produce.

Dunbia is a leading global supplier of consistent, high-quality meats from sustainable sources and is also the official partner of the Scarlets Community Foundation.

The new partnerships underline a shared belief in the importance of grassroots and pathway rugby in developing the future stars of Scarlets and Welsh rugby.

Scarlets Academy Pathway Manager Emyr Phillips said:  “We are hugely grateful to LHP, Dunbia and Blas y Tir for their support of our age-grade teams. Our pathway, through to the Academy and senior team, has produced a conveyor belt of talent over the years with players going on to play at the pinnacle of the game, representing Wales and the British & Irish Lions.

“The likes of Gareth Davies, Jonathan Davies, Ken Owens, Scott Williams, Rhys Priestland, our captain Josh Macleod, and more recently Eddie James, Joe Roberts and Tom Rogers along with many others came through our system and I am sure, with the continued support of our partners, we will see many more over the coming seasons as we strive to provide the best possible environment for young players to develop both on and off the field.”

Scarlets’ U18s are back in action on Sunday, January 25 when they take on Cardiff at the Arms Park.

An extended U16s squad have also been training in preparation for their upcoming matches.
