The Castell Howell Food Show is always a highlight of the Parc y Scarlets calendar and this year’s two-day event has proven to be bigger and better than ever before.

The show, which took place on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 10-11) inside the FSG Arena, attracted more than 200 exhibitors, ranging from local producers to those from further afield.

In excess of 3,500 people from an estimated 1,250 individual hospitality and leisure businesses across South Wales and beyond came through the doors over the two days – record-breaking numbers for the event.

Showcasing the best of Welsh food and drink, it offered guests the chance to explore new innovative product launches, get inspired by fresh menu ideas, attend live demonstrations and meet suppliers face to face.

Established in 1988, Castell Howell is a family-run business based in Carmarthen that has become a leading light in the UK foodservice industry. The company has also been a long-standing supporter and commercial partner of the Scarlets, with their logo on the playing kit and naming rights of the South Stand.

Scarlets Managing Director Jon Daniels said: “Hosting Castell Howell’s Food Show is always a highlight for us at Parc y Scarlets. It has become one of the standout events in the Welsh produce and hospitality industry and it has been fantastic to see how it has grown with record-breaking visitor numbers coming through our doors.

“Brian, Martin and everyone at Castell Howell have been amazing supporters of the Scarlets for a long time. It is a privilege for us to be able to host an event of this size and also to showcase what Parc y Scarlets can offer as a non-matchday venue.”

Castell Howell Director Martin Jones added: “Being here at Parc y Scarlets means so much to us. We are a Carmarthenshire-based company with our roots firmly in the county and it all started with support from local businesses.

“It is really humbling to have had record visitors this year and we are so grateful to our customers who come out in such numbers and support us year after year. It was great to see so many of them across the two days.”

Parc y Scarlets is one of three Castell Howell Food Shows taking place across Wales at the start of 2026. The first was at the ICC Wales in Newport last month, while Parc Eirias in Colwyn Bay will be the venue for the next one on February 24 and 25.
