Who’s your Supporters Player of the Month?

Rob LloydFeatured

The New Year is almost upon us and it’s time to vote for your Vaughan Construction Scarlets Supporters Player of the Month for November/December.

It’s been a roller-coaster few weeks for Dwayne Peel’s side, who stunned Glasgow Warriors at Parc y Scarlets at the end of November, came agonisingly close to toppling Bristol Bears a week later, gave a good account of themselves in defeat in Bordeaux, claimed a backs-to-the-wall win in Cardiff, then lost to the Ospreys in a keenly-contested West Wales derby on Boxing Day.

There have been standout performances across the five games.

Here are your contenders

Fletcher Anderson

The new signing from the Crusaders has hit the ground running in Llanelli, putting in a series of powerful displays from No. 8, with and without the ball. No player carried more than Fletch in round eight of the URC.

Gareth Davies

Turned back the clock with a virtuoso player-of-the-match display at the Arms Park, crossing for two tries, including a trademark interception. May have called time on his international career, but the 35-year-old remains one of the leading nines in the competition.

Ellis Mee

Produced some impressive stats in defeat against the Ospreys with 16 carries for 93 metres, with three line breaks and beating five defenders. Has been ultra-consistent in the Scarlets back three having earned a Wales recall for the Springboks game in November.

Eddie James

Has made a big impact in the Scarlets midfield since his return from a long-term back injury. A try-scorer against Cardiff, he has carried strongly and defended powerfully. Is a Six Nations call on the horizon for the centre from Carmarthen?
