Scarlets’ Ioan Lloyd has been crowned the winner of this season’s BKT United Rugby Championship Gilbert Golden Boot award for the most points in the regular campaign.
The Scarlets playmaker topped the charts with 124 points – 46 of those came from conversions, with the other 78 points coming from successful penalty kicks – to finish ahead of Hollywoodbets Sharks star Jordan Hendrikse (108 points), and Edinburgh’s Ross Thompson (105 points).
Ioan was presented with the award by Scarlets assistant coach Jared Payne at our annual awards evening at Parc y Scarlets.
