Disabled Policy

DISABLED FACILITIES & ACCESS

The Scarlets operate a ticketing policy whereby:

Tickets purchased in the designated disabled areas will be provided with a complimentary 'carer' ticket for each ticket purchased in the disabled area.

Parc Y Scarlets has total of 64 designated disabled spaces available. Entries for North stand designated disabled spaces are through the Exit doors on the ground level of the North Stand which is marked 'Lift to platform', West and East stand designated disabled spaces are also accessed through these doors and a member of staff will escort you to your seats, they are placed well back from the pitch, offering excellent viewing and weather protection. South Stand designated disabled areas are accessed through reception via the lift and are situated on level two outside of the Quinnell Lounge.

The stadium also offers 29 disabled parking spaces. Space is limited and is offered at the beginning of the Season on a first come first served basis. For more information please call 01554 783900.

FACILITIES FOR SUPPORTERS USING WHEELCHAIRS

The stadium has 70 wheelchair seats with an additional 70 for family and carers. They are located around all four stands and access is at ground level through signed doors and accessed via designated lifts in the North and South and are pitch side in the East and West. Additionally there are further stewards in these areas to assist supporters and their carers.

Wheelchair using applicants should, ideally, also be accompanied by a person who is capable of supporting the disabled person's needs in the event of an emergency. For this reason The Scarlets strongly recommend that the carer is sixteen years of age or over and not be infirm.

The regions health and safety policy requires that the person using a wheelchair remain in their wheelchair. Any refusal will be deemed to be a contravention of Health and Safety policy and you may be asked to leave the stadium/be declined a ticket.

SUPPORTERS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

The Scarlets take into consideration the needs of the visually impaired in order for them to be able to continue their support of the region.

Visual Impaired supporters are entitled to a free carer pass. Eligibility for this concession requires proof of disability or a document which certifies that they are Registered Blind/Partially Sighted or qualifying documentation from their optician equivalent to registration requirements.

We strongly recommend that each visually impaired person attending a match should be accompanied by a person who is fully able to support their needs in the event of an emergency. This person is entitled to a free carer pass.

Referee commentary is provided on Ref Talk headsets which are available for purchase from the onsite shop on the day, please speak with the customer services desk to organise this.

Guide Dogs are allowed into the Stadium but we would recommend that supporters with Guide Dogs contact the Customer Service Office 01554 783 900 before the match so that we can discuss with them access to the ground, facilities inside the ground and the welfare of the Guide Dog before, during and after the match.

SUPPORTERS WITH INFIRMITIES

Supporters with physically restricting medical conditions can sometimes have difficulty in reaching seats in some parts of the stadium. We are also conscious of the elderly population and wish to consider their needs in order for them to continue supporting and watching the club.

Those people suffering from an infirmity which prevents them from climbing a number of steps can request a seat in the most accessible parts of the stadium i.e. near entrances and exits. Please advise the Ticket Office of this request at the time of booking.
