Scarlets Community Foundation is preparing to take on an incredible test of endurance, teamwork, and community spirit with a brand-new fundraising challenge that promises to be as inspiring as it is demanding.
This summer, participants will attempt something truly mighty: walking two full marathons in just two days along sections of the iconic Wales Coast Path.
The 2-Day Challenge will see staff, volunteers, and community champions push themselves to walk more than 50 miles across two consecutive days. Each step will help raise vital funds to support the Foundation’s work across west Wales, including programmes focused on health and wellbeing, inclusion, education, and opportunities for young people.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Welsh coastline, the route promises breathtaking sea views, rugged cliffs, quiet coastal villages, and the unmistakable pride that comes from completing something truly special.
But make no mistake – this is not just a walk. It’s a physical and mental challenge that will test determination, resilience, and team spirit. Participants will need commitment, preparation, and a strong sense of purpose to cross the finish line at the end of day two.
Every mile completed during the challenge will directly support the life-changing work of Scarlets Community Foundation. From helping young people build confidence through sport to supporting programmes that improve mental and physical wellbeing across the region, the funds raised will make a real and lasting difference.
The route:
Day 1: New Quay to Mwnt
Day 2: Manorbier to Laugharne
