Teen Takeover for Scarlets v Vodacom Bulls at Parc y Scarlets

Rob LloydNews

Aged between 11 and 17 and curious about a future career in sport, media or events?

Scarlets have just the opportunity for you!

On Saturday, April 25, when Scarlets welcome Vodacom Bulls to Parc y Scarlets in the United Rugby Championship, we will be running a special Teen Takeover as part of the URC Kids Round – giving young people the chance to go behind the scenes on a matchday and experience what it’s really like to work in professional rugby.

What is Teen Takeover?

Teen Takeover offers young fans the opportunity to step into a variety of real matchday roles across the club, working alongside Scarlets staff and learning how a major sporting event comes together.

From media to operations, hospitality to matchday announcer, participants will gain hands-on experience and insight into the wide range of careers available at a professional rugby club.

It’s a unique chance to:

  • Discover different career pathways in sport
  • Build confidence and practical skills
  • Learn directly from industry professionals
  • Be part of the matchday team on a URC fixture

Who can apply?

Teen Takeover is open to young people aged 11 to 17 with an interest in sport, events, media, business or working behind the scenes.

No previous experience is required – just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
