Max arrived at the Scarlets following two seasons with the Yokohama Canon Eagles in Japan. Before his move to the Japanese top division, the 6ft 7in forward, who has played in the second row and back row, featured for the Waratahs in Super Rugby and the Manly club in Sydney.
