Scotland international scrum-half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne has joined Harlequins on a loan deal from the Scarlets for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old will link up with the Gallagher Premiership side as injury cover and has been registered in their European squad ahead of the Challenge Cup quarter-final against Worcester at the end of the month.
Hidalgo-Clyne, capped 12 times for Scotland, joined the Scarlets last summer from Edinburgh.
Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac said: “It is an opportunity for Sam to get more rugby. It is also an indication of how happy we are with the progress Kieran Hardy and Declan Smith have made.”
