A product of Tenby RFC, Archie joined the Scarlets Academy in 2021 and made an instant impact on his senior debut, scoring two tries in the pre-season win over Nottingham at Parc y Scarlets. Capped by Wales U20s during the 2022 Six Nations Archie was selected as a member of the travelling party to South Africa for the URC matches against the Sharks and Bulls. Was Wales' first-choice nine at the 2023 U20s Six Nations and was selected for the World Cup in South Africa in the summer.
