Wales U18s continued their preparations for the upcoming Six Nations festival in Vichy with a match against Ireland U18s Schools in Clontarf.
Tenby scrum-half Alfie Luger crossed for one of Wales’ tries in a 42-19 defeat, while Scarlets flanker Rhys Owen also started. Hooker Cole Lacey, prop Olie Tucker, second row Hefin Hughes and fly-half Madoc Evans came off the bench.
In the latest round of Super Rygbi Cymru, hooker Harry Thomas, flanker Tiaan Sparrow, front-rowers Tom Phillips and Yestyn Cook and second row Dan Gemine were part of the Llandovery squad that won 26-18 at Bridgend.
Carmarthen Quins were defeated 24-18 at home by Swansea in front of the S4C cameras on Thursday night.
