Dan Davis has been voted your Castore Supporters Player of the Month for January.

The all-action openside polled more than 50 percent of the votes, beating off the challenge of Joe Roberts, Johnny McNicholl, Sam Lousi and Vaea Fifita for the third award of the season.

Davis has been in outstanding form since the turn of the year, producing a string of eye-catching displays in the No. 7 jersey.

The 24-year-old said: “I just want to say thanks to the fans for voting for me, it’s been good to get a good run of games and I’m enjoying my rugby. We have started 2023 unbeaten, it will be good to keep it going, it’s all eyes now looking forward to Edinburgh.”

Scarlets defence coach Gareth Williams said: “Dan’s been fantastic. Speaking defensively, he has added things to his game and is constantly working on individual work-ons which is showing in his performances. But what is really pleasing is his consistency and it is brilliant to see him get acknowledged by the fans.

“It is a great example of what we are trying to create, Dan taking those opportunities and taking the team forward with it as well.”

Davis follows Sione Kalamafoni (Sept/Oct) and Dane Blacker (Nov/Dec) as an award winner this season.

Congratulations as well to Lara Davies who wins a £100 Castore voucher. Lara’s name was selected at random from those who filled in the voting form.

Make sure you enter the next vote which will take place at the end of March.
