European Challenge Cup draw – time and details

The Scarlets will find out who they will be playing in the 2019-20 European Challenge Cup when the draw takes place in Lausanne, Switzerland on Wednesday, June 19.

The draw starts at 1pm (UK and Irish time) and will be streamed live on www.epcrugby.com and on the official tournament Facebook pages.

The Scarlets will be joined by Cardiff Blues, the Dragons, Edinburgh and Zebre as the representatives of the Guinness PRO14.

The draw also contains four former champions of Europe in Toulon, Leicester Tigers, Wasps and Brive.

Brad Mooar’s side could find themselves pitted against a number of clubs they have yet to meet in European competition, including Bayonne, Worcester Warriors, Bristol Bears and Russian qualifiers Enisei-STM.

There are also some familiar foes, with the Scarlets having enjoyed battles against the likes of Castres, Stade Francais, Pau, Agen, Brive, London Irish as well as Tigers and three-times Champions Cup winners Toulon, who were beaten at Parc y Scarlets in a memorable night during the 2017-18 campaign.

The event comperes in Lausanne will be Sarra Elgan (BT Sport) and Matthieu Lartot (France Télévisions) with Bryan Habana (Channel 4) and Dimitri Yachvili (beIN SPORTS) conducting the draws.
