Harry Thomas and Elis Price named in Wales U20s squad for Scottish trip

Scarlets hooker Harry Thomas will start his fourth consecutive game as Wales take on Scotland at Edinburgh’s Hive Stadium in the fourth round of the 2025 U20s Six Nations on Friday evening (19:15).

Thomas has enjoyed an outstanding campaign at the heart of Richard Whiffin’s side and again wears the No. 2 jersey as Wales look to build on their stunning backs-to-the-wall win over Ireland last time out.

There could also be a first appearance of the campaign for Elis Price, brother of Scarlets senior squad lock Jac. Elis, who can slot in at fly-half or centre, is named among the replacements for the trip north.

Whiffin has made four personnel changes, as well as switching Tom Bowen from wing to full-back in a game where Wales will be seeking a third consecutive victory in the championship for the first time since 2017.

Looking forward to the match, Whiffin said:  “We’re taking Scotland seriously as it is going to be a very tough challenge up there – we know any away game in the championship is going to be tough. Scotland will be desperate to get a win in their last home game of the Six Nations.

“They have a couple of key individuals who give them go forward so we will need to get on top of them so we collectively can put our own game plan into action.”
