To comply with legal regulations put forth by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) directive coming into force in May this year, Scarlets Regional Limited has a legal obligation to obtain explicit consent from every individual wishing to receive any form of communication from the club. This applies to receipt of information over phone, email, text messaging or any other medium that can be construed as personal to the recipient.

If you have had previously received communication over email from Scarlets, you should have received an email from Scarlets asking you to opt-in to (Signup) or opt-out of (Unsubscribe) Scarlets Hotspot Newsletter. If we didn’t receive a response from you, we followed up with reminder emails asking you to indicate your preference. If you do not opt-in by 25th of May, 2018, we can no longer contact you or send any emails to you.

It is imperative that you tell us where you want to receive communication from us or not as not indicating a preference will prevent us from contacting you. All non opted-in members will also be removed from the Scarlets database as soon as the GDPR directive comes into force.
