Injury update ahead of Connacht game

Here is the latest injury update from the Scarlets ahead of Saturday’s BKT United Rugby Championship round two clash with Connacht in Galway.

Josh Macleod

Josh injured his Pectoral muscle in training this week and is unavailable for Saturday’s game in Connacht.

Sam Costelow

Sam is going through the head injury return-to-play protocols following a knock in the game against Munster.

Sam Lousi

Sam picked up a ‘Lat’ muscle injury in training before the Munster game and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.

Kemsley Mathias

Kemsley has an Oblique muscle strain and is likely to miss Saturday’s game against Connacht.

Archer Holz

Archer is close to making his return from a long-term virus.

Second row Jac Price remains unavailable, Ryan Elias (elbow) and Eddie James (back) are continuing their recoveries from surgery. Senior Academy lock Will Evans remains out with a hamstring injury, while back-rower Dom Kossuth has picked up a knee injury playing for Llandovery and is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Marnus van der Merwe is unavailable because of international duty with South Africa.
