Josh at the double as flanker wins vote for February player of the month

Rob Lloyd News

Scarlets flanker Josh Macleod has picked up a second Intersport Scarlets player of the month award after topping the poll for the February vote.

Macleod has enjoyed an outstanding campaign and is out in front in the Guinness PRO14 charts for turnovers this season.

He was man-of-the-match in the bonus-point win over Isuzu Southern Kings and put in strong displays in the defeats to Edinburgh and Munster.

The 23-year-old, who also won the November award, took the supporters’ vote ahead of Aaron Shingler, Angus O’Brien and Tevita Ratuva.

The previous winners of the Intersport-sponsored award are Kieran Hardy (October), Macleod (November), Leigh Halfpenny (December) and Uzair Cassiem (January).
