Tom Allen gave Scarlets fans a glimpse of what to expect from their new second row signing after playing his part in Hawke’s Bay’s impressive start to their NPC campaign in New Zealand.
Allen started at lock in the thumping 52-33 win over Wellington in round one of the provincial competition.
The 22-year-old, along with back-rower Cullen Grace – who is part of the Canterbury squad for the competition – are due to arrive in Llanelli in November following the completion of New Zealand’s provincial tournament.
They are two of nine new signings made by the Scarlets ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Prop Corey Domachowski, hookers John McKee and George Roberts (pictured below), full-back Isaac Murray-Macgregor, locks Harvey Cuckson and Alex Groves, as well as our latest signing Wales international Gareth Anscombe, have all linked up with the squad for pre-season training at Parc y Scarlets.
Round one of the BKT United Rugby Championship kicks off for the Scarlets on Saturday, September 26 with a Welsh derby date against Cardiff at the Parc.
