Parc y Scarlets will host the MARIs mixed ability team on Saturday as they take on Llanelli Warriors Women in a historic anniversary match at the stadium.

The game will kick off at 3pm with free entry for all.

Established in 2021, the MARIs (Mixed Ability Rugby Invitationals) was the idea of Jamie Evans and Gwilym Lewis of the Llanelli Warriors, a team created to bring players and coaches together from around the world to play exhibition matches and to showcase what mixed ability rugby is all about.

Embracing the spirit of the Barbarians invitational team, the first match saw the MARIs play Llanelli Warriors at Cardiff Arms Park, an occasion to mark the 25th anniversary of the Warriors.

Saturday’s match brings together players and coaches from 10 clubs across six countries.

One of the MARIs sponsors is one of Scarlets’ main partners Cadog Homecare.
