Parc y Scarlets to welcome back fans for Bristol game

Following today’s Welsh Government announcement that Covid-19 restrictions are being eased and supporters will be allowed to attend outdoor sporting events in Wales, we look forward to welcoming our fans back to Parc y Scarlets for the Heineken Champions Cup tie against Bristol Bears on Saturday, January 22.

The game will be the first played in front of supporters at the Parc since the URC round five clash against Benetton on October 22.

Scarlets Chief Operating Officer Phil Morgan said: “This is fantastic news for the club and we can’t wait to welcome supporters back into Parc y Scarlets for what promises to be a great game against Bristol.  We, of course, want to see fans at every game but the health and safety of our community is paramount.  We have taken all the necessary steps to ensure the stadium is a safe environment for the return of our fans.

“Our players and coaches have spoken openly about how much they missed the fans during the derby against the Ospreys and it will be brilliant to see our loyal supporters and partners back in the stadium for what promises to be a big European night.

“Obviously, there are restrictions still in place regarding indoor hospitality and we also urge fans to continue to follow all public health guidelines.”

Anyone attending the match will need to show an NHS Covid Pass or have proof of a negative lateral flow test.

Tickets are now on sale at tickets.scarlets.wales or from the Parc y Scarlets ticket office (01554 292939) and as part of our ‘welcome back’  to fans, we have a number of offers available.
