Welsh adventure company Zip World are teaming up with the Scarlets in an exciting new partnership.

As part of a multi-year deal, the North Stand at Parc y Scarlets has been renamed the Zip World Stand. Zip World will also be on the new Scarlets home and alternate jerseys and a soon-to-be unveiled training range.

Zip World is one of Wales’ biggest tourist attractions, with three sites across the Snowdonia National Park soon to be four sites with the new Zip World Tower in South Wales. Each location is carefully scouted for its natural beauty and the brand works sympathetically with the landscape to create groundbreaking, exhilarating adventures.

You can choose from 13 exciting and unique Zip World adventures that include Fforest Coaster in an idyllic woodland at Betws y Coed, to navigating a Caverns zip lining course underground at the historic Slate Caverns and taking on Velocity 2 the fastest zip line in the world at Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda.

Scarlets are delighted to be in partnership with such a strong and ambitious Welsh brand.

Head of commercial James Bibby said: “It has been great to get to know Sean and the team over the past few weeks. I have been extremely impressed with their professional approach and ambitious plans for the future.

“This partnership with Zip World presents us with a fantastic opportunity to team up and grow with an upwardly-mobile Welsh company who hold similar values to ourselves.

“I’m very much looking forward to welcoming the Zip World team to the Parc when it is safe to do so this season and I know fans will be excited to fill the Zip World Stand at the first available opportunity.”

Zip World will also appear on the back of the new Scarlets jersey

Sean Taylor, founder and president of Zip World said: “As one of the biggest brands in world rugby we’re thrilled to be a part of this great club. We believe there’s a bright future between Zip World and Scarlets and it will prove to be hugely successful for both. I’m personally looking forward to me and my team being able to visit Parc y Scarlets once it’s safe to do so.

“As president of Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy based in the Conwy Valley, Scarlets has always been our region of choice. I’m extremely excited for this season and to see the strength of the current squad compete in the Pro14 and Europe.”

With all eyes on the opening round of the Guinness PRO14, the Zip World branding will be unveiled in front of the Premier Sport cameras as Scarlets lock horns with Irish rivals Munster at Parc y Scarlets this afternoon.
