The Scarlets today unveiled their new home and alternative kits for the 2019-20 season.

The Pembrokeshire County Show was the venue for the launch which saw Scarlets players Johnny McNicholl, Werner Kruger, Uzair Cassiem, Josh Macleod, Ryan Conbeer and Simon Gardiner model the new distinctive kits.

As part of the Scarlets ‘Three Counties, Three Years’ strategy, the alternative yellow, grey and blue jersey has a Pembrokeshire theme for the 2019-20 season with the kit reflecting the traditional colours of the county’s coat of arms.

Like last season’s Ceredigion kit, the jersey includes symbols from the crests of all three counties, representing the region’s heritage and industries. The Scarlets’ sospan is also included on the alternative jersey.

The home kit has a white and red striped side panel and a redesigned collar, with a new diamond pattern on the front of the jersey.

The Juno Moneta Group are again the principal sponsor, with the jersey having been designed and produced by the Scarlets’ official kit supplier Macron.

The other commercial partners taking pride of place on the jersey and shorts are Enzo’s Estates Ltd, Dyfed Steel, BT Sport, Castell Howell, Intersport UK, Pencnwc Holiday Park, Ronnie S Evans, Coleg Sir Gar, LBS, Lloyd & Gravell, Gravells, CK Foodstores, Swansea University, John Francis, Viola, Owens Group UK, Prince’s Gate  and TAD Builders,

“We are delighted with the new jerseys and I am sure our supporters and commercial partners will be too,” said Scarlets chief operating officer Phil Morgan.

“The hugely-popular Pembrokeshire County Show is a perfect venue to launch the ‘Pembrokeshire year’ which is part of our ‘Three Counties. Three Years’ strategy and it is great that so many of our commercial partners are able to support us at the event.

“I’d like to thank all our sponsors, local and national, that continue to support the Scarlets and I am sure we are all looking forward to an exciting new season under Brad Mooar and his coaching team.”
