Scarlets Ladies head to Llandovery for the Regional Super 12’s this Saturday

Kieran Lewis News

Tomorrow, the Scarlets Ladies will participate in the Super 12’s at Llandovery RFC. With the first game kicking off at 10.00am, the squad will be captained by second row Awen Prysor, with former under 18’s captain, Lowri Williams acting as her vice captain.

The Scarlets will challenge five Welsh regional teams; Cardiff Blues A and B, Dragons, Ospreys and RGC in a day of 12-a-side clashes.

Daryl Morgan, the Head Coach of the Scarlets Ladies commented, “The super 12 will present us with a new challenge, playing high intensity rugby over a shorter period of time.

“The squad has trained really well, especially the younger players that have come into the squad.”

With the unavailability of Jodie Evans and Alex Callender, Daryl added, “We are taking a fairly young squad to Llandovery, it’s the prefect opportunity to introduce them to senior regional rugby and see how they rise to the challenge.”
