SCARLETS RUGBY UPDATE: Coronavirus

Aadil Mukhtar News

In light of this week’s announcement from Guinness PRO14 surrounding the suspension of all Championship fixtures, Scarlets Rugby would like to thank our fans and commercial partners for their continued support and understanding.

Scarlets have decided to suspend all tickets sales until we receive further clarification from PRO14. We are also awaiting an update from European tournament organisers EPCR regarding our Challenge Cup quarter-final tie in Toulon on Friday, April 3.

We would like to stress that at present, fixtures will be postponed to a future date and not cancelled so match tickets and season tickets remain valid for any rescheduled fixture.

It is a constantly-changing situation and as soon as we receive any further information from PRO14 and EPCR we will update our supporters.

Scarlets chief operating officer Phillip Morgan said: “As a club, we are hugely grateful to the support shown by our fans, sponsors and partners. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are following all the advice we are receiving from the relevant authorities.

“Here at Parc y Scarlets we have implemented the best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and urge everyone to follow NHS guidelines.

“We will also be contacting our elderly season ticket holders and debenture holders to explain the situation and offering our assistance if they need any help or advice.”

We are following all health and safety guidance and at the moment the Lolfa Strade cafe and Parc y Scarlets Macron Shop will remain open to the public, while the stadium lounges are available for bookings until further notice.
