Centre Steff Hughes has topped the voting for the Oil 4 Wales Scarlets’ supporters’ player of the month for March.
Steff polled close to 50% of the online votes, seeing off the challenge of centre partner Johnny Williams, lock Sam Lousi and back-rower Aaron Shingler for the monthly award.
Captaining the side for the majority of the campaign, Steff has been an assured midfield influence and played a huge role in the remarkable comeback win over Connacht that secured the club’s place in next season’s Heineken Champions Cup.
Steff follows Sione Kalamafoni and Jac Morgan as the monthly winners in 2021.
