Argentina international Tomás Lezana has left the Scarlets to take up a contract with French side Montauban.

Lezana has joined up with the Pro D2 side this week as a ‘medical joker’, bringing to an end two seasons in West Wales.

The 29-year-old back-rower made his debut against Leinster in Dublin in 2021 and has played 19 matches, scoring three tries.

Head coach Dwayne Peel said: “We’d like to thank Tomás for his efforts as a Scarlet over the last couple of seasons. We wish him well with his move to France.”
