Aaron Shingler has been released from Wales’ Six Nations squad to feature in Saturday’s Guinness PRO14 clash with play-off rivals Munster at Thomond Park.
The back-rower missed Sunday’s win over Southern Kings because of illness, but has recovered to be part of the Scarlets squad heading to Limerick this weekend.
After 12 rounds of the PRO14 Scarlets sit third in the Conference B table on 37 points, three points behind Munster. Edinburgh currently lead the way on 43 points.
Four Welsh-based players – Shingler, Hallam Amos, Seb Davies (both Cardiff Blues) and Taine Basham (Dragons) – have been released by the national squad.
