Who is your Scarlets Local Hero?

Aadil Mukhtar News

Scarlets are paying tribute to those who have been making a difference to their community by launching ‘Scarlets Local Hero’.

In association with Scarlets’ commercial partners, we are inviting supporters to nominate someone from their community, whether it’s a member of the NHS, a key worker, carer, volunteer, fundraiser, neighbour or someone who is just doing that bit extra during these tough times.

The winner, chosen by Scarlets players and coaches each month, will receive a signed Scarlets jersey.

Scarlets head of commercial James Bibby said: “We have seen during this period how communities have come together to help those who are vulnerable or in need.

All you need to do is fill in the form with the reasons why you think this person should be our ‘Local Hero’. Submit your nomination here https://bit.ly/2Bp87mJ

“The Scarlets Community Foundation care package scheme has highlighted that with so many people from local rugby clubs and girls hubs volunteering to help out and our many commercial partners providing help and donations.

“These are hugely challenging times, but it is heartwarming to see the community spirit being shown across our region and people going that extra mile.

“This Local Hero award is just a way for us at the Scarlets and our commercial partners to say thank you to those people.”
