Fans at this year’s Judgement Day will not only get to enjoy two fierce local derby matches featuring the Scarlets v Dragons and Cardiff v Ospreys but will also be treated to a full day of entertainment and music.

The event, which takes place at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 1 June, concludes the regular season in the BKT United Rugby Championship.

As well as the two huge match-ups featuring a host of international stars and emerging Welsh talent, fans will enjoy a stellar line up of great music acts. The concourse areas of the Ninian Stand, Family Stand and Canton Stand will be transformed into an indoor fanzone with bands, food & drink, DJ’s, presenters, and players all present throughout the day. The music acts will move between stages in each stand so fans get to experience as may of the top musical acts as possible. The initial line up (with additional acts to be unveiled later this week) include:

  • Singer ALIMISH – A graduate of the famous Brit School, Welsh singer, songwriter & producer Alimish entered the dance music world with her distinctive vocals, catchy hooks and electric live performances, becoming a BBC Wales A-List artist, and labelled “One to watch for 2023” by KISS FM
  • DJ Stacy Alford GRL TLK – Stacey is an award-winning DJ with a fine reputation, which has earned her residencies and gigs across the U.K – Stacey has been a warm up DJ for artists such as Queens Of the Stone Age, Gerry Cinnamon, Nile Rogers  and Jess Glynne.
  • Samba Galez – Samba Galêz has a large and experienced membership with members aged between 18 and 81, and some who have been in the band for over 25 years! They perform all year round – spring parades, summer carnivals, autumn festivals, winter wonderlands – whether it is sunshine or rain!
  • Club choirs – The choirs of the two home teams – Scarlets and Cardiff – will be in attendance to add a familiar touch to the Judgement Day match-day experience.

In additional to the fanzone acts there will be the usual in-bowl entertainment featuring music, big screens, big match build up and performances from local schools and dance groups as part of the Join the Momentum Community Programme.
