It’s time to unite against dementia

Rob Lloyd Newyddion Cymuned

Dementia can devastate lives. For someone with the condition, as well as their family and friends, dementia means the plans you made, and the future you thought you had, will not be so.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and we are working tirelessly to build a world without dementia. We provide information and support to over 100,000 people each year, fund research and seek to create lasting change for people living with dementa and those closest to them.

Dementia is now the UK’s biggest killer meaning that out cause has never been so important. It is a cause at the forefront of people’s minds and in the news.

Scarlets support Alzheimer’s Society Cymru

Parc y Scarlets is a dementia friendly stadium and we’re delighted to be in a position to support Alzheimer’s Society Cymru.

When we last welcome Ulster to Parc y Scarlets, on Friday 23rdNovember, second row Steve Cummins wore blue laces in support of the United Against Dementia campaign. The society also held a bucket collection at the game, thank you to everyone who was able to support with a donation, however big or small.
