Josh Phillips and Caleb Salmon have again been included in the Wales U20s squad for Tuesday’s final of the U20 Six Nations Summer Series against South Africa at Treviso’s Stadio Monigo, (KO 8pm UK time).

Both players are named among the replacements, along with Llanelli scrum-half Luke Davies.

Pembrokeshire product Caleb, a member of the Scarlets Academy, said: “How we have come on from the Six Nations has been unbelievable. Credit to the boys, they were outstanding against Italy in our last match.

“Personally, just to come on and make your mark on the game was awesome and at the end it was the best feeling of my career so far.”

The back-rower added: “To play against a team like the Boks will be a first for a lot of the boys, myself included. We can’t wait to test ourselves against them and bring our game. It is going to be a bigger game and a bigger challenge – I am looking forward to it.”

Head coach Byron Hayward has made just one change to the starting XV that saw off Italy with Exeter’s Oli Burrows getting the nod at hooker and Cardiff’s Efan Daniel dropping down to the bench.
