Scarlets forwards Vaea Fifita and Sam Lousi have been named in Tonga’s squad for the July Tests ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The pair have enjoyed an outstanding campaign at Parc y Scarlets and line up in a star-studded 35-ma group that includes former All Blacks Charles Piutau, Malakai Fekitoa and George Moala as well as ex-Wallabies Lopeti Timani, Adam Coleman and Israel Folua.
Tonga begin their preparations for the World Cup in France with Tests against Fiji and Japan on July 22 and 30, respectively.
They have been drawn in Group B, where they will face Ireland, defending champions South Africa, Scotland and Romania.
