Scarlets U16s East and West produced encouraging displays in the latest round of the WRU Regional Championships.

Scarlets West took on Dragons South at Tenby RFC and backed up their impressive win the week before with another dominant display, winning 48-7.

No. 8 Deian Gwynne crossed for a double, with skipper Max James, wings Leo De Souza and Harri Gwynne Jones, scrum-half Morgan Williams and Tomas Evans also claiming tries. Fly-half Iori Badham and replacement Steffan Jac Jones kicked two conversions apiece.

Scarlets East shared the spoils 24-24 with Cardiff North at Merthyr thanks to tries from centre Elis Thomas, prop Jac Pritchard, flanker and captain Keanu Evans (two) and conversions from fly-half Elis Payne (pictured) and replacement Elis Price.
