There’s a mouthwatering double header of women’s sport taking place at Parc y Scarlets this weekend.
On Saturday, Wales will continue their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign when they take on Montenegro, kicking off at 4.30pm.
Cymru last played in Llanelli in July 2024, beating Kosovo 2-0 in a UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifier.
The match saw Welsh footballing icon Jess Fishlock break the Cymru goal-scoring record in front of more than 4,000 fans. Rhian Wilkinson and the players will hope that Cymru’s return will see the Red Wall turn out in their numbers once again in west Wales to support the side.

Victory for the in-form Thunder – who have won their last four matches – will see them secure their place in the semi-finals of the cross-border competition.
The Thunder team is packed with young, exciting local Welsh talent as well a number of seasoned Wales internationals and it promises to be a firecracker of a contest with a last-four place at stake for Ashley Beck’s side.
