Parc y Scarlets will host a celebration of Welshness on Saturday, October 10, when Scarlets take on Benetton Rugby in the third round of the BKT United Rugby Championship.
The first event held earlier this year, in conjunction with Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli, was a great success and plans are afoot for another great celebration.
Former Scarlet and Welsh speaker Rhys Patchell is a part of Benetton Rugby’s coaching team, as well as former head coach Wayne Pivac.
Three young bands will be performing pre and post match in the Tanner Banc as part of the celebrations on the day. All three bands, Penne Orenne, Alys a’r Tri Gwr Noeth, and Y Llanw/Tides Reach, have recently performed in Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli’s Battle of the Bands.
There will also be a player Q&A in the Supporters Village before the game.
