Diwrnod Shwmae Su’mae hapus i chi!
To mark Diwrnod Shwmae Su’mae, an opportunity for you to have fun and share the Welsh language and start every conversation with shwmae, su’mae or shwdi!, we are delighted to announce that we’ll be celebrating our Welshness at the Scarlets v Ulster in January!
As the calendar turns to January, Parc y Scarlets will host a celebration of Wales’ heart, heritage and identity. The Scarlets v Ulster match on January 24, 2026 (15:00, United Rugby Championship) promises to be a showcase of Welsh pride, bringing together fans from across the country to honour culture, history and community.
The Ulster fixture will be a Caru Cymru day. A day to spotlight everything that makes Welsh identity unique – the language, the music, the stories, the arts, the communities, and of course, the passion for rugby.
We’ll be working with Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli, a charity promoting the Welsh language in Llanelli and the Gwendraeth Valley area, to ensure a day of fantastic music and activities for the whole family.
Scarlets v Ulster, Saturday, January 24, kick-off 15:00, tickets are available here
