Fletcher Anderson scooped the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards at the Scarlets end-of-season presentation dinner in the Quinnell Lounge at Parc y Scarlets on Sunday.

A November arrival from New Zealand, the No. 8 played all but one match – Saturday’s final game against the Dragons – during an outstanding first season with the club.

Fletch finished in the URC’s top five list for carries, defenders beaten and tackles made and received 60 percent of the fans’ online vote, seeing off the challenge of Eddie James, Ellis Mee and Ryan Elias.

Fletch was presented with the Dyfed Steels Supporters’ Player of the Year trophy by Dyfed Steels owner and founder David Thomas.

The Gavin Griffiths Group Players’ Player of the Season trophy was presented by Gavin Griffiths, Managing Director of Gavin Griffiths Group.

Wales international hooker Ryan Elias was named the Cawdor Cars Coaches’ Player of the Season. Ryan has enjoyed an impressive campaign since returning from an early-season bicep injury, earning a Wales recall for the 2026 Six Nations.

Ellis Mee’s match-winning try against Ulster in January was voted the Purus Try of the Season, polling 72 percent of the fans’ vote. Gareth Davies’s interception against Cardiff was second in the voting.

The Castell Howell Breakthrough Player of the Season was prop Josh Morse, who made his URC debut against the Ospreys in December. The Llandovery product has overcome a serious knee injury, which prevented him playing last season, to emerge as one of the most exciting young front-rowers in the Welsh game.

Two Senior Academy awards were also presented during the evening.

The Senior Academy player of the season was full-back Jac Davies, who shone for the senior side in the Investec Champions Cup against Bristol Bears, Bordeaux-Begles and Northampton Saints.

The Academy’s ‘Man of Steel’ was centre Gabe McDonald, who made his URC debut this season in the win over Glasgow Warriors.

The evening was attended by players and their partners, Board members, staff and chief sponsors and was compered by Radio Wales commentator Phil Steele.
