In Super Rygbi Cymru, Llandovery secured their place in the Cup final with a late, late 26-24 win over Pontypool at Church Bank. Academy flanker Tiaan Sparrow came off the bench in the second half for the Drovers.
In the Plate competition, Carmarthen Quins were defeated 21-5 by Swansea at Gowerton RFC. Academy backs Thomas Williams and Rhodri Lewis started for Quins, with Wales U20s squad member Hudson Nevin making his club debut as a replacement.
