Congratulations to Jac and Elis Price who have become the latest set of brothers to represent the Scarlets.
Both featured in Saturday’s 26-14 victory over their home club Carmarthen Quins to complete a proud moment for the Price family.
Both Wales U20s internationals, 19-year-old Elis started at fly-half and landed two first-half conversions, while 24-year-old Jac came off the bench in the second period.
Our club historian Les Williams has a record of all the brothers to have played for the club and his archives show that the Prices are the 81st, following in the footsteps of the likes of the Quinnells, the Boobyers, Jonathan and James Davies, Simon and Guy Easterby, Garan and Deiniol Evans, Aaron and Steve Shingler and further back to the likes of the Johns – Clive, Barry and Allan – Barry and Brian Llewellyn and Wally, Norman and Byron Gale.
The most recent siblings before Elis and Jac were props Harri and Sam O’Connor.
Scarlets continue their pre-season campaign when they take on Leicester Tigers at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday (3om ko).
